*Products are packed in a 25 Kg Sack with a sealed plastic lining.
*Products are packed with a moisture content between 6-12% depending on the type of malt.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store in a temperate, low humidity, pest free environment at temperatures of <90 oF. Improperly stored malts are prone to loss of freshness, flavor, and the possible appearance of Grain Weevil Bugs. Sealed whole kernel diastatic and pre-ground malts are best when used within 6 months from date of manufacture. Whole kernel roasted malts may begin experiencing a slight flavor loss after 12 months.
RETURN & EXCHANGES
We understand that most ingredients need to be opened and/or used before you know there is an issue. If you find your malt is not as fresh as guaranteed upon opening, kindly contact us as soon as possible for a replacement. If a replacement is desired we will ship the replacement immediately with no extra charge.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND WARRANTY
Products may be returned and replaced within 30 days of purchase. Santiago Malthouse will not be held liable with any off-flavours from any products or beverages made with our malts.
Our Malthouse makes Malt in weekly batches starting Monday of every week.
